GRANTS AND FUNDING

  • I am a PI for a work package in a ERA-NET Neuron ELSA consortium “INSOSCI: The integration of cross-disciplinary research in neuroscience and social science – a methodological case study on economic policies and the neuroscience of agency” (with Witten/Herdecke and UCLouvain) 2016-2018.
  • In addition, I have been a key member in the team writing the successful application for the Centre of Excellence status for TINT as well as a number of smaller (mostly successful) applications, such as the academy project application “Models and Simulations in and Across the Social Sciences” (PI Uskali Mäki), “Philosophical foundations of analytical social science” from the University of Helsinki research funds (PI Petri Ylikoski), and the workshop of science application “The Market and Marketization” for the Finnish Cultural Foundation (www.helsinki.fi/market/) (PI Uskali Mäki).
  • A three year grant for PhD research on Scientific Explanation and Causality (Finnish Cultural Foundation, 2003)
